An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play forced Szárnyaló Sasok's goalkeeper Márk Csáki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márk Csáki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Márk Csáki came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 12th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Szárnyaló Sasok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Rozanski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbert Jánosi got free with Arnout Reekers in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Jánosi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Arnout Reekers throw himself and got hold of the ball when Róbert Jánosi in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 23rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márk Csáki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Kálmán Benczur kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Márk Csáki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of the match. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Szárnyaló Sasok's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Márk Csáki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márk Csáki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Márk Csáki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Szárnyaló Sasok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Szeszák to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márk Csáki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wim Wilmes's late challenge caught a Szárnyaló Sasok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wim Wilmes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Szárnyaló Sasok booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Róbert Jánosi made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisztián Albert in the 52nd minute of the match. Márk Csáki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Márk Csáki. Márk Csáki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 61st minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Márk Csáki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Márk Csáki threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 65th minute. Netherlands's Kevin Drogt was substituted for Egbert Nijveldt. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. After 67 minutes Szárnyaló Sasok's goalkeeper Márk Csáki managed, with a little bit of luck, save Gijsbert ter Kruimer's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After some careless play in the Szárnyaló Sasok defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márk Csáki. The Szárnyaló Sasok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márk Csáki should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Márk Csáki, 1-7. 79 minutes into the match, Szárnyaló Sasok's goalkeeper Márk Csáki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Kálmán Mihály stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Kálmán Mihály tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Szárnyaló Sasok's goalkeeper Márk Csáki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Karl Albi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szárnyaló Sasok's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Albi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Szárnyaló Sasok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Albi to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Márk Csáki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 97 minutes into the game, Szárnyaló Sasok's Karl Albi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. The Szárnyaló Sasok supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
