Rasim Kadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sungurhan Çalımbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Celal Toktuğ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Arif Zakir was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Rasim Kadi struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Sungurhan Çalımbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erenköy.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rasim Kadi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arcan Yetişen in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sungurhan Çalımbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celal Toktuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy's zone, Celal Toktuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Arif Zakir came out of the goal and Celal Toktuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Arif Zakir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Danış Mukaddes in the 61st minute of play. When Arcan Yetişen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sungurhan Çalımbay was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rasim Kadi in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sungurhan Çalımbay saved Lapşekır from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Mustafa Arif Zakir successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Lapşekır's Ahmet Danış Mukaddes in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mustafa Arif Zakir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 90th match minute, Lapşekır was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agah Öz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Danış Mukaddes in the 93rd minute of play forced Erenköy's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Zakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lapşekır had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
