Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atabek Ünlü started the match with the kick off. Ahmet Arif Özmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziya İlteber having to interfere. Karsiyaka SK's Ercan Akbel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Ünlü in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Özen Öztay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Aras Turhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALACA JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aras Turhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercan Akbel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes of play, ALACA JK's Aras Turhan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercan Akbel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özen Öztay during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Karsiyaka SK got a freekick which was hit by Özen Öztay. 21 minutes into the match, ALACA JK's goalkeeper Ziya İlteber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hıncal Koralp. Ziya İlteber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özen Öztay in the 25th minute of the match. If Ahmet Arif Özmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ALACA JK defense, Hıncal Koralp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziya İlteber. The ALACA JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziya İlteber should have stopped the shot. Karsiyaka SK's Ahmet Arif Özmen got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Özen Öztay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Ahmet Arif Özmen made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ALACA JK's Ziya İlteber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Arif Nihat Revan fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALACA JK's protests and gave Arif Nihat Revan a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes ALACA JK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Nihat Revan.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özen Öztay made a kick off. Karsiyaka SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Aras Turhan scored to the left of an out of position Ercan Akbel, making the score, 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, Özen Öztay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ziya İlteber. ALACA JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özen Öztay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After having played for 77 minutes, Ahmet Arif Özmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karsiyaka SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Arif Özmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Karsiyaka SK got a freekick which was hit by Bedirhan Sulasi. Aras Turhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ercan Akbel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Arif Özmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Arif Özmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Atabek Ünlü came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ALACA JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atabek Ünlü couldn't finish the play. Hakan Zihni's late challenge caught a Karsiyaka SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakan Zihni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ALACA JK's Hakan Zihni got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cihangir Sabi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
