A collision led to Köycegiz getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Abdi Özdeğer hit a great ball. Selamicesme's Hakkı Onur Zirve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Selamicesme from getting a goal against them. Selamicesme's Hakkı Onur Zirve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Özdeğer in the 17th minute of play. Ömür Aral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hakkı Onur Zirve made a huge save. Hakkı Onur Zirve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Özdeğer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barışcan Başsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Köycegiz booed when Selamicesme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Onay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Ekrem Altunç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuratay Abay in the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz's Ferid Kökşin got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Işık Kaygun made the kick off in the second half. Hazım Ünsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Işık Kaygun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Onur Zirve having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Selamicesme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şimşek Balyemez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Işık Kaygun in the 64th minute of play forced Selamicesme's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Zirve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Zeynel Avşaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes, Zeynel Avşaroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selamicesme and the Köycegiz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaan Bera shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 77th minute Abdi Özdeğer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Onur Zirve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Zeynel Avşaroğlu from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Mustafa Ekrem Altunç's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Ferid Kökşin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köycegiz's protests and gave Ferid Kökşin a yellow card for diving instead. Hazım Ünsev struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mustafa Ekrem Altunç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selamicesme. Nuratay Abay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Ekrem Altunç having to interfere. Mustafa Ekrem Altunç was a little too slow when Barışcan Başsoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-1.
