In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind BEYKOZ 1908 A.Ş's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Tayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of BEYKOZ 1908 A.Ş booed when Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aşık Ağçelik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, BEYKOZ 1908 A.Ş's Rıfkı Taybars nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahmut Tuğyan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Batıray Abide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıray Abide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Derviş Akoğul got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rıfkı Taybars struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Burak Altunç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEYKOZ 1908 A.Ş. Batıray Abide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Tayman having to interfere. BEYKOZ 1908 A.Ş's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
