The supporters of Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü booed when Ferizli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Efe Akartuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü's Mehdi Sayıl got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Güntekin Onguner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Burak Altunç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Namık Kemal Tanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Burak Altunç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tevfik Kalhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ferizli's Tevfik Kalhan in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Burak Altunç guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 44 played minutes Ferizli got a freekick which was hit by Duman Akbuğ. In the 46th minute Süreyya Hidayet managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Batıray Abide might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burhan Dündar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batıray Abide ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batıray Abide to strike the kick off in the second half. Namık Kemal Tanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Burak Altunç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tevfik Kalhan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ferizli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tevfik Kalhan couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Aşık Ağçelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burak Altunç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tevfik Kalhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Numan Çubuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tevfik Kalhan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tevfik Kalhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burak Altunç made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Namık Kemal Tanır sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Tevfik Kalhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burak Altunç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferizli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Güntekin Onguner in the 82nd minute. The corner ended in Güntekin Onguner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü's Burak Altunç did a great save. Aşık Ağçelik's late challenge caught a Ferizli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aşık Ağçelik helped the player get up and apologised. Aşık Ağçelik hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Namık Kemal Tanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferizli's supporters rose to their feet, but Namık Kemal Tanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burak Altunç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Namık Kemal Tanır got free with Burak Altunç in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tevfik Kalhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Burak Altunç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ferizli players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Haydarpaşa Spor Kulübü from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
