Cemal Siraceddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Harun Tanbek having to interfere. Hulki Yalkı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hikmet Özarı, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Hikmet Özarı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

In the 55th minute, Hikmet Özarı fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hulki Yalkı, passed just outside the right post. In the 57th minute, Ordu JK's Hikmet Özarı ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hulki Yalkı. Hulki Yalkı yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Rafet Peyam charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafet Peyam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muammer Yılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Yiğit Can Akkaya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Hulki Yalkı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Ordu JK's Hikmet Özarı fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Hulki Yalkı was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Hikmet Özarı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayhan Kınay struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ahmet Harun Tanbek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray SK. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ordu JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
