The referee ignored Beşiktaş's protests and gave Tibet Kultigin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibet Kultigin to maneuver through the defense. If Sertel Zeyni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mümtazer Ziyaettin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümtazer Ziyaettin couldn't finish the play. Egemen Münir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertel Zeyni in the 27th minute of play. When Mümtazer Ziyaettin came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümtazer Ziyaettin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Doganhisar's zone, Ekrem Akkoyun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acar Yuvakuran came out of the goal and Ekrem Akkoyun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekrem Akkoyun in the 43rd minute of play forced Doganhisar's goalkeeper Acar Yuvakuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertel Zeyni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Egemen Münir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Doganhisar's Acar Yuvakuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekrem Akkoyun in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Dalmaz to maneuver through the defense. Sertel Zeyni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Egemen Münir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 64 minutes into the game, Paşa Ali Turkay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egemen Münir. Paşa Ali Turkay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ali Kürşat Tümerkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doganhisar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Kürşat Tümerkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egemen Münir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egemen Münir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paşa Ali Turkay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acar Yuvakuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtazer Ziyaettin in the 76th minute of play. Acar Yuvakuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekrem Akkoyun in the 77th minute of the match. Ergincan İzzettin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ekrem Akkoyun struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Acar Yuvakuran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş.
