The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hakkı Onur Dağdelen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Erman Özkutsal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Kayseri Spor got a freekick which was hit by Batuğ Sefir. Beşir Akdemir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erman Özkutsal came out and tried to block the shot, but Beşir Akdemir slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. Erman Özkutsal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Onur Dağdelen in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Beşir Akdemir lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Erman Özkutsal. When Erzincan SK's Beşir Akdemir in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Çağrı Kambay kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Kayseri Spor's Halit Ziya Öztaş tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Hakkı Onur Dağdelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kayseri Spor's zone, Beşir Akdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erman Özkutsal came out of the goal and Beşir Akdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Erzincan SK fully deserved thier win.
