After 3 played minutes Mutki got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Baturalp. After 7 minutes of play, Mutki's Atahan Ongay made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berk Tuğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arman Akduman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gürcan Ünalmış firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 16th minute, Melih Karasu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berk Tuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atahan Ongay in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Kahraman Balısoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berk Tuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Feridun İstanbullu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Akduman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürcan Ünalmış having to interfere. The supporters of İzmir fc booed when Mutki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdülhak Ongu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 51 minutes into the match, Mutki's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Akduman came free, but Gürcan Ünalmış reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 52 minutes, Atahan Ongay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mutki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atahan Ongay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute of the match Ahmet İlhan Ethem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berk Tuğ skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute Atahan Ongay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berk Tuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berk Tuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atahan Ongay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atahan Ongay in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berk Tuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kahraman Balısoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Atahan Ongay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berk Tuğ made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Kahraman Balısoy sent off a good shot on target.
