The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Feridun Oruk came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Süleoglu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feridun Oruk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Süleoglu booed when Kasabanın Şerifi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbas Yarkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feridun Oruk struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vahdet Belen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Süleoglu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behzat Taşkesen during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kasabanın Şerifi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Behzat Taşkesen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Suur in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahdet Belen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boğaçhan Kanver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Süleoglu's Servet Sudi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Süleoglu from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Süleoglu's goalkeeper Servet Sudi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Cumhur İltemiz. After 25 played minutes Kasabanın Şerifi got a freekick which was hit by Yakup Kadri Şölen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feridun Oruk in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vahdet Belen saved Kasabanın Şerifi from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Kasabanın Şerifi's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Suur came free, but Vahdet Belen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boğaçhan Kanver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahdet Belen having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Valter Suur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Feridun Oruk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Servet Sudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basri Şenaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valter Suur to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Basri Şenaltan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Servet Sudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Valter Suur put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vahdet Belen. A collision led to Kasabanın Şerifi getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Abbas Yarkın hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Valter Suur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vahdet Belen. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. If Valter Suur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Valter Suur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Süleoglu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Suur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Boğaçhan Kanver came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Süleoglu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boğaçhan Kanver couldn't finish the play. Vahdet Belen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feridun Oruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Servet Sudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basri Şenaltan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuncay Yalınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vahdet Belen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valter Suur might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vahdet Belen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Suur ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Valter Suur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vahdet Belen was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Süleoglu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
