When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Lütfullah Günden put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Songurhan Ayhan. Songurhan Ayhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lütfullah Günden, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Günyüzü SK's goalkeeper Kayacan Giryar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Günyüzü SK's Kayacan Giryar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Oba in the 12th minute of play. Lütfullah Günden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurhan Ayhan having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Lütfullah Günden made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bahcesehir FK's Songurhan Ayhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd match minute, Bahcesehir FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazıl Hüsnü Ruknettin to maneuver through the defense. Günyüzü SK's Lütfullah Günden got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Günyüzü SK's goalkeeper Kayacan Giryar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıdvan Özinal. Songurhan Ayhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lütfullah Günden in the 36th minute of the match. Lütfullah Günden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurhan Ayhan having to interfere. Lütfullah Günden struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Songurhan Ayhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Günyüzü SK. Lütfullah Günden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdi Oba was the one to do the kick off. Yavuz Yaltıray kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Erkan Özdener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Günyüzü SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erkan Özdener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurhan Ayhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Songurhan Ayhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lütfullah Günden went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Özgür Balcı charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özgür Balcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kayacan Giryar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Özinal in the 77th minute of play. Songurhan Ayhan came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Günyüzü SK's Anthony Touzet. But to his dismay, Anthony Touzet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 94th minute, Günyüzü SK's Erkan Özdener dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The Bahcesehir FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Günyüzü SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
