BAYBURT SPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuz Resul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güvenç Sezen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Besni's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfikar Eğilmez came free, but Güvenç Sezen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Besni got a corner. BAYBURT SPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orhan Seyfi Akdoğan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Orhan Seyfi Akdoğan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BAYBURT SPOR's Gazi Gürgen did a great save. Güvenç Sezen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 67 minutes into the game, İnanç Verim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gazi Gürgen. İnanç Verim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Güvenç Sezen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfikar Eğilmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güvenç Sezen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Kutal in the 72nd minute of play. Güvenç Sezen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahin Kutal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Besni were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant BAYBURT SPOR side.
