Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Besni's Ali Macit Atacan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Besni booed when Adilcevaz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balamir Bayülgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Besni's zone, Melih Kahraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güvenç Sezen came out of the goal and Melih Kahraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahadır Özcan's late challenge caught a Adilcevaz SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahadır Özcan helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the match, Besni's goal looked a bit too open when Melih Kahraman came free, but Güvenç Sezen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abdulhamit Menderes fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besni's protests and gave Abdulhamit Menderes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Adilcevaz SK booed when Besni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulhamit Menderes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melih Kahraman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güvenç Sezen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Korhan Sağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İnanç Verim hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Melih Kahraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Melih Kahraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Sezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ataol Sungurtekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İnanç Verim in the 36th minute of play forced Adilcevaz SK's goalkeeper Alp Olgun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Macit Atacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güvenç Sezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Kahraman in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Besni got a freekick which was hit by Nuratay Tarkan. 46 minutes into the game, Ataol Sungurtekin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Güvenç Sezen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melih Kahraman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melih Kahraman in the 67th minute of play forced Besni's goalkeeper Güvenç Sezen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Işık Ömürcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alp Olgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Işık Ömürcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Işık Ömürcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Alp Olgun made a huge save. Ali Macit Atacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alp Olgun having to interfere. Güvenç Sezen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataol Sungurtekin in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Besni's İnanç Verim got a free kick in the 95th minute. The corner led Adilcevaz SK's Korhan Sağan to fire away a dangerous shot which Güvenç Sezen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
