The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Balamir Yaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. Saadettin Yıldırımtürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Satılmış in the 42nd minute of the match. Gölbasi JK's Ahmet Efe Satılmış got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Oğuzhan Umman made the kick off in the second half.
