Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. İrfan Demirtuğ started the match with the kick off. Güney Tanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coşkun Bilgiç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İrfan Demirtuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Tanay having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gülyali JK defense, Coşkun Bilgiç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güney Tanay. The Gülyali JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güney Tanay should have stopped the shot. Tarık Naci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Tanay having to interfere. Güney Tanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coşkun Bilgiç, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Gülyali JK's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Demirtuğ came free, but Güney Tanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Selcuklu SK defense, Umut Erginalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu. The Selcuklu SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu should have stopped the shot. Güney Tanay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coşkun Bilgiç's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Reis Pekel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Selcuklu SK's zone, Umut Erginalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu came out of the goal and Umut Erginalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Selcuklu SK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anıl Baran Türksan hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Latif Arman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Selcuklu SK booed when Gülyali JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalan Hüdayioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute İrfan Demirtuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güney Tanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Gülyali JK's Umut Erginalp. But to his dismay, Umut Erginalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 45 played minutes Selcuklu SK got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Temizkal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reis Pekel made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Şeray Türe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Selcuklu SK and the Gülyali JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Selcuklu SK got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Türe. After having played for 57 minutes, Umut Erginalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülyali JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umut Erginalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gülyali JK's Reis Pekel got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gökçek Cumali fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülyali JK's protests and gave Gökçek Cumali a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Gökçek Cumali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Selcuklu SK got a freekick which was hit by İrfan Demirtuğ. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Demirtuğ in the 70th minute of play forced Gülyali JK's goalkeeper Güney Tanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Selcuklu SK's Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umut Erginalp in the 73rd minute of play. Gülyali JK's Güney Tanay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gülyali JK from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Selcuklu SK's İrfan Demirtuğ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 87th minute, Reis Pekel made a precise shot to the right of Fevzi Hacıfettahoğlu. Selcuklu SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gülyali JK had won after a very even match.
