Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala got the match started through his kick off. Kunter Şenaltan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Kunter Şenaltan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala in the 9th minute of play. Kunter Şenaltan came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ESENLER FK's Hüseyin Turan Saraç. But to his dismay, Hüseyin Turan Saraç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Hüseyin Turan Saraç managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESENLER FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Turan Saraç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kunter Şenaltan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mürsel Özyay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkin Erbay to maneuver through the defense. If Sufi Özçınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir Kabataş hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala came free, but Kunter Şenaltan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kunter Şenaltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Abdulkerim İnciroğlu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedir Lokman in the 59th minute of play forced ESENLER FK's goalkeeper Mehdi Yıldırımtürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abdulkerim İnciroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulkerim İnciroğlu couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, ESENLER FK's Kunter Şenaltan threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Hüseyin Turan Saraç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Şenaltan having to interfere. Kunter Şenaltan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Tayyip Oğuzbala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüseyin Turan Saraç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Şenaltan having to interfere. Mehdi Yıldırımtürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ESENLER FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
