Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdulbaki Türkcan started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aşık Yoruk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İlhami Baran was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Eskil JK's Erol Batıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulbaki Türkcan in the 5th minute of play. Ahmet Korcan Sehrud might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İlhami Baran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Korcan Sehrud ran back to his position shaking his head. İlhami Baran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşık Yoruk in the 7th minute of the match. Öztürk Kiray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Erol Batıhan made a huge save. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskil JK's goalkeeper Erol Batıhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Balcova booed when Eskil JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Güralp Çetintürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Eskil JK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulbaki Türkcan came free, but Erol Batıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eskil JK's Fedai Satı got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mehdi Kurman struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Erol Batıhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcova. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mehmet Osman İlker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balcova's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Osman İlker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erol Batıhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Öztürk Kiray came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Balcova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Öztürk Kiray couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Mustafa Numan İkram was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balcova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eskil JK the free kick. In the 36th minute, one of Balcova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balcova. Erol Batıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulbaki Türkcan in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Eskil JK's goal looked a bit too open when Doğaner Denizalp came free, but Erol Batıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulbaki Türkcan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Erol Batıhan 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aşık Yoruk to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Eskil JK's zone, Öztürk Kiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erol Batıhan came out of the goal and Öztürk Kiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erol Batıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulbaki Türkcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulbaki Türkcan in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erol Batıhan saved Eskil JK from getting behind. Abdulbaki Türkcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Eskil JK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fedai Satı hit a great ball. Erol Batıhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Öztürk Kiray's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşık Yoruk in the 70th minute of play forced Balcova's goalkeeper İlhami Baran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Korcan Sehrud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balcova booed when Eskil JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Can Durna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulbaki Türkcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hacı Ali Özerhan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Erol Batıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Öztürk Kiray in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Öztürk Kiray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulbaki Türkcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erol Batıhan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Korcan Sehrud got free with İlhami Baran in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Öztürk Kiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erol Batıhan having to interfere. If Öztürk Kiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Balcova failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
