Aydincik JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maden SK the free kick. Remzi Kırman kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Gürol Gökçek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rüştü Açıkgöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafız Şahtürk in the 8th minute of play forced Aydincik JK's goalkeeper Rüştü Açıkgöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ateş Taşgan came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Aydincik JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ateş Taşgan couldn't finish the play. If Hafız Şahtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hafız Şahtürk took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rüştü Açıkgöz. Rüştü Açıkgöz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hafız Şahtürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüştü Açıkgöz having to interfere. Rüştü Açıkgöz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafız Şahtürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Adam Răducanu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rüştü Açıkgöz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürol Gökçek's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Maden SK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hafız Şahtürk hit a great ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aydincik JK's goalkeeper Rüştü Açıkgöz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rüştü Açıkgöz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız Şahtürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafız Şahtürk struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rüştü Açıkgöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maden SK. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürol Gökçek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gürol Gökçek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rüştü Açıkgöz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Gürol Gökçek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hafız Şahtürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüştü Açıkgöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürol Gökçek in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Adam Răducanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Delgado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Gürol Gökçek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Aydincik JK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürol Gökçek came free, but Rüştü Açıkgöz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maden SK's Hafız Şahtürk got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdurrezzak Şahbazoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aydincik JK's Eusébio Delgado got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Maden SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aydincik JK.
