Senirkent's Rüştü Ünlü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiz Tolay in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Ramiz Tolay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rüştü Ünlü. Senirkent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiz Tolay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Taha Usbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If İsmail Kocakalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Ömür Özmert hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Kocakalp got free with Coşkun Tezer in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Zülfü Yumlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Senirkent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanliurfa the free kick. 22 minutes into the match, Senirkent's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiz Tolay came free, but Rüştü Ünlü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Sanliurfa's Ramiz Tolay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Haşim Ertaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Coşkun Tezer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coşkun Tezer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taha Usbay in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taha Usbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coşkun Tezer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsmail Kocakalp's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Rüştü Ünlü showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiz Tolay, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Berkem Afacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senirkent's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkem Afacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coşkun Tezer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Çağatay Keçeci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coşkun Tezer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Kocakalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, İsmail Kocakalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Senirkent's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Kocakalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coşkun Tezer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İsmail Kocakalp struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Coşkun Tezer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senirkent. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taha Usbay in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coşkun Tezer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeki Cangun hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Aydemir Evliya from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Rüştü Ünlü's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sanliurfa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
