Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gencalp Naci kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anafartalar's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Seyfullah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ergincan Özertem struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hürkan Orguntay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anafartalar. After 9 minutes of play, Anafartalar's Gencalp Naci made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hürkan Orguntay was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Anafartalar booed when Caybasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nihat Tanyolaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gencalp Naci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Caybasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semih Yaltırak to maneuver through the defense. Caybasi's Hürkan Orguntay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergincan Özertem in the 26th minute of play. When Ali Vedat Çelikkan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caybasi's protests and gave Ali Vedat Çelikkan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caybasi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ali Vedat Çelikkan hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Caybasi's goal looked a bit too open when Gencalp Naci came free, but Hürkan Orguntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkı Onur Seyfullah made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Çakabey Tuğsavan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Caybasi booed when Anafartalar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Masuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edip Cevan scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakkı Onur Seyfullah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gencalp Naci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hürkan Orguntay having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edip Cevan to make the kick off. When Edip Cevan got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hakkı Onur Seyfullah was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Semih Yaltırak kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Hürkan Orguntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencalp Naci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Edip Cevan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Caybasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edip Cevan couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Çakabey Tuğsavan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Anafartalar's Hakkı Onur Seyfullah. Hakkı Onur Seyfullah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Edip Cevan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Onur Seyfullah. Anafartalar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edip Cevan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Edip Cevan came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Caybasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edip Cevan couldn't finish the play. Caybasi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Anafartalar for a fine match.
