Hürkan Orguntay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semih Yaltırak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiz Canpolat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Semih Yaltırak got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Caybasi getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Semih Yaltırak hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Mete Akarslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiz Canpolat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakabey Tuğsavan in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İdris Benli in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hürkan Orguntay saved Caybasi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by İdris Benli in the 26th minute of play forced Caybasi's goalkeeper Hürkan Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Catak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafer Sarim to maneuver through the defense. İdris Benli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mete Akarslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Songurhan Tecmil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hürkan Orguntay. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Catak's İdris Benli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hürkan Orguntay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Çakabey Tuğsavan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Catak's Mete Akarslan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hürkan Orguntay was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute Şahin Kutlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hürkan Orguntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, İdris Benli put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hürkan Orguntay. A collision led to Catak getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Şahin Kutlay hit a great ball. Mete Akarslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Caybasi got a freekick which was hit by Bekir Öğüç. If Şahin Kutlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Caybasi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ali Vedat Çelikkan hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Cuma Sayhan made a precise shot to the right of Hürkan Orguntay. Caybasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, Mete Akarslan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Caybasi's Hürkan Orguntay. Hürkan Orguntay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by İdris Benli in the 84th minute of play forced Caybasi's goalkeeper Hürkan Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fethi Tibet hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Ali Behzat Kayra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hürkan Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İdris Benli in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şahin Kutlay in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hürkan Orguntay saved Caybasi from getting behind. Catak walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
