Spectators: 6629 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Songurbey Saru kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Tokluspor's goalkeeper Ali Galip Taşdan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Semih Bilgetürk. A sloppy throw-in by Dan Seţeanu in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tokluspor's Ertuğrul Teksen. Bergama spor's Ahmet Turan Genç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertuğrul Teksen in the 8th minute of play. Cankut Tayfur hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Altay Serkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Galip Taşdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Songurbey Saru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Turan Genç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pekin Keçecioğlu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Tokluspor defense, Songurbey Saru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Galip Taşdan. The Tokluspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Galip Taşdan should have stopped the shot. Akif Başkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Kenan Satı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tokluspor and the Bergama spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bergama spor booed when Tokluspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Satı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Galip Taşdan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semih Bilgetürk in the 30th minute. Ali Galip Taşdan was a little too slow when Semih Bilgetürk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Ali Galip Taşdan made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Songurbey Saru sent off a good shot on target. Pekin Keçecioğlu's late challenge caught a Bergama spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pekin Keçecioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Turan Genç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekin Keçecioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Altay Serkut was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Semih Bilgetürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bergama spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Altay Serkut's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Turan Genç firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bergama spor's Songurbey Saru managed to work through Tokluspor's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Songurbey Saru dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Semih Bilgetürk took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Galip Taşdan. Ali Galip Taşdan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Ali Galip Taşdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semih Bilgetürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ahmet Turan Genç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Altay Serkut in the 82nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Doğan Harmanda put in a rough tackle. Doğan Harmanda hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Semih Bilgetürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Galip Taşdan having to interfere. The supporters of Bergama spor booed when Tokluspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahsun Hızarcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Songurbey Saru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Galip Taşdan was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ahmet Turan Genç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoilo Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Bergama spor were the better team. Bergama spor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
