When Okan Haksever fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baskil's protests and gave Okan Haksever a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Okan Haksever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kazım Muhsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halis Akil got free with Bekir Yaşar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Baskil's Bekir Yaşar threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okan Haksever, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Muhittin Hozatlı's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bekir Yaşar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kazım Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Tidéksson in the 35th minute of play. After 38th play minutes Marc Tidéksson shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Kazım Muhsin and just under the crossbar into goal. Bekir Yaşar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhittin Hozatlı in the 45th minute. Muhittin Hozatlı scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bekir Yaşar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okan Haksever made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Tidéksson in the 55th minute of play forced Baskil's goalkeeper Kazım Muhsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Marc Tidéksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazım Muhsin was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Bekir Yaşar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okan Haksever in the 66th minute of the match. Bekir Yaşar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Haksever, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Okan Haksever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bekir Yaşar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nicolas Reniero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Muhittin Hozatlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bekir Yaşar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arif Çelebi Yalım came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Poena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Çelebi Yalım couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Halis Akil made a precise shot to the right of Bekir Yaşar. Poena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Arif Çelebi Yalım kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Bogdan Oltean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute, Seyhan Suphi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 101st minute of the match Poena FC got a corner. Baskil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marc Tidéksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Baskil support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
