Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 50) Maltepe's Abbas Talaykut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Maltepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Talaykut to maneuver through the defense. If Abbas Talaykut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maltepe's Dilaver Parskan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galip Temcit in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Mihaliccik's Galip Temcit made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dilaver Parskan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Maltepe's Abbas Talaykut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ümit Önder. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. İsmail Cem Demircioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İsmail Cem Demircioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berkin Hamurcu scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dilaver Parskan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sten Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ümit Önder having to interfere. Maltepe's Abbas Talaykut got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dilaver Parskan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Galip Temcit went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

After some careless play in the Mihaliccik defense, Sten Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ümit Önder. The Mihaliccik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ümit Önder should have stopped the shot. Maltepe's Pedro Augusto Araújo was substituted for Sten Axelsson. Maltepe made a substitution. Fetih Uğurlu replaced Abbas Talaykut. If Fetih Uğurlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayberk Yanık's late challenge caught a Maltepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ayberk Yanık helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Maltepe a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafettin Akkın, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mihaliccik's Ümit Önder. 3-3. A collision led to Mihaliccik getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Arif Çelebi Behram hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Pedro Augusto Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Orhan Veli Sunguralp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mihaliccik the free kick. Orhan Veli Sunguralp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ümit Önder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Araújo in the 83rd minute of the match. If Pedro Augusto Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maltepe's Enginalp Hiçsönmez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Maltepe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
