The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Özdemir Şanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Şahinalp in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkın Acaröz in the 8th minute of play forced Tufanbeyli's goalkeeper Özdemir Şanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tansu Çokman took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atıf Oğuralp. Atıf Oğuralp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Tufanbeyli's Lemi Eracar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atıf Oğuralp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Atıf Oğuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansu Çokman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ömer Aşık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Şanalp having to interfere. Ömer Aşık scored 1-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özdemir Şanalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. İrfan Şahinalp struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Özdemir Şanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahcesehir JK. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tufanbeyli's goalkeeper Özdemir Şanalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ömer Aşık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Şanalp having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Bahcesehir JK's İrfan Şahinalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özdemir Şanalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ömer Ferikoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Atıf Oğuralp was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Lemi Eracar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lemi Eracar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 56thth minute of the game Arkın Acaröz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tufanbeyli's Özdemir Şanalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Özdemir Şanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İrfan Şahinalp in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Bahcesehir JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Kemal Uğurlubey to maneuver through the defense. Özen İzci, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ömer Aşık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acun Dağasan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ömer Aşık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Özdemir Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İrfan Şahinalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahcesehir JK's Atıf Oğuralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bahcesehir JK from getting a goal against them. Tansu Çokman came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atıf Oğuralp could save by the left post. İrfan Şahinalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Özdemir Şanalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, İrfan Şahinalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özdemir Şanalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İrfan Şahinalp's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Özdemir Şanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Şahinalp in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tufanbeyli walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
