With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altuğ Taylan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Özbek Usun kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Mutlu Hilal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Eruh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mutlu Hilal couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Dilaver Yağan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yalova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eruh the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Yalova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilaver Yağan to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Eruh's Kayhan Bayazid tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Eruh's Ahmet Koralp Tümcan got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mutlu Hilal made a kick off. Altuğ Taylan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mutlu Hilal's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Necmi Aynacıoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Baykam in the 57th minute.
