Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LION FC's Tuncay Kural started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tuncay Kural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Aral having to interfere. Suat Energin took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet İlke Aral. Ahmet İlke Aral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Kırmızı Şahinler 27's goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Aral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Suat Energin. After 9 played minutes Kırmızı Şahinler 27 got a freekick which was hit by Işık Bal. Yusuf Ziya Geylan lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LION FC! LION FC:s Şener Olgunsoy showed great skill when he stopped Bünyamin Çınar:s penalty. 13 minutes into the game, Bünyamin Çınar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Şener Olgunsoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LION FC's Ahmet Koralp Kaveloğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Tuncay Kural managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LION FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuncay Kural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tuncay Kural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncay Kural might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet İlke Aral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuncay Kural ran back to his position shaking his head. Tuncay Kural struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet İlke Aral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LION FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Suat Energin in the 51st minute of play forced Kırmızı Şahinler 27's goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Aral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match Abdullah Kutel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet İlke Aral skillfully saved the ball. If Tuncay Kural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faruk Kudretullah's late challenge caught a LION FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faruk Kudretullah helped the player get up and apologised. Faruk Kudretullah hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ahmet İlke Aral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Koralp Kaveloğlu in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Kırmızı Şahinler 27 got a freekick which was hit by Işık Bal. After 68 played minutes, LION FC's Abdullah Kutel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Aral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LION FC reached it. Vehdi Cingöz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Mehmet Emrah Serafet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
