In the 11th match minute, KIRMIZI ŞİMŞEKLER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Münir Orhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Jeffrey Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aydemir Ayaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KIRMIZI ŞİMŞEKLER booed when Alacalı FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akşemseddin Umut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menderes Taşel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Doruk Mübarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Jeffrey Burton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akşemseddin Umut during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Alacalı FC got a freekick which was hit by Akşemseddin Umut. After a defensive mix-up in Alacalı FC's zone, Jeffrey Burton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aydemir Ayaydın came out of the goal and Jeffrey Burton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, KIRMIZI ŞİMŞEKLER's Aydemir Ayaydın threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeffrey Burton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aydemir Ayaydın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Ekström in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asım Ogün was the one to do the kick off. When Asım Ogün came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Alacalı FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asım Ogün couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Mehmet Efe Aksun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alacalı FC's Birkan Kurban quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Menderes Taşel might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doruk Mübarek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Menderes Taşel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 minutes of play, Alacalı FC's Menderes Taşel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doruk Mübarek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sivert Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aydemir Ayaydın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Sivert Ekström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aydemir Ayaydın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aydemir Ayaydın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzcan Baturalp in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Sivert Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aydemir Ayaydın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Sezgin Özgiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doruk Mübarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aydemir Ayaydın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Alacalı FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Ekström came free, but Aydemir Ayaydın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
