The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vecdet Kınay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kağan Sezmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Nurtekin Tosun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülnar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nurtekin Tosun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gülnar booed when BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yetkin Özkoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Gülnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kağan Sezmen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gülnar's Dündar Tugay got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's Bayındır Erbay got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurtekin Tosun in the 36th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's goalkeeper Vecdet Kınay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nurtekin Tosun took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vecdet Kınay. Vecdet Kınay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlualp Özekan to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Cevahir Sayman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vecdet Kınay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's Vecdet Kınay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungur Yılma in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Gülnar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Orhan Özbilgin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ömür Çile's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Gülnar's Dündar Tugay got a free kick in the 52nd minute. BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's Ömür Çile got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 56 in the game by Nurtekin Tosun from a close distance when the talented Vecdet Kınay managed to make a qualified save. BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's players were relieved. When Celal Canfer fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's protests and gave Celal Canfer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celal Canfer to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Gülnar's Sungur Yılma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 65th minute Sungur Yılma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdet Kınay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhan Özbilgin came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's Ömür Çile. But to his dismay, Ömür Çile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 74 played minutes Gülnar got a freekick which was hit by Barışcan Yalman. In the 75thth minute of the game Ömür Çile who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gülnar's Orhan Özbilgin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Özen Taymaz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özen Taymaz couldn't finish the play. Ömür Çile scored 2-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orhan Özbilgin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's goal looked a bit too open when Sungur Yılma came free, but Vecdet Kınay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's Ömür Çile got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Ahmet Erdem Çelikoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orhan Özbilgin skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ BLACK EAGLE's goalkeeper Vecdet Kınay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nurtekin Tosun. If Sungur Yılma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gülnar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
