Spectators: 7205 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 75) Nevşehirspor's Ismael Gil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Kazan's Asrın Remiz got control of the ball when Ismael Gil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murat Arabacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ege Hürsel in the 24th minute of play. Ahmet Emir Çağar made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nevşehirspor's Hüsnü Sehriyar. Nevşehirspor's Ismael Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Murathan Ataoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute of the match Ahmet Emir Çağar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murat Arabacı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Ahmet Ege Hürsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murat Arabacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Gil in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asrın Remiz saved Kazan from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Kazan's zone, Ismael Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asrın Remiz came out of the goal and Ismael Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Ege Hürsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Çetin Tecen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Yakut Tezal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murat Arabacı skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murathan Ataoğlu to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Murathan Ataoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murat Arabacı, 1-2. The long shot by Ramazan Tengizalp in the 56th minute really tested Murat Arabacı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mustafa Numan Erten's late challenge caught a Nevşehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nevşehirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Egemen Ulun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asrın Remiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nevşehirspor's Ismael Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Murathan Ataoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kazan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevşehirspor the free kick. Ismael Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asrın Remiz having to interfere. Nevşehirspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Kazan were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Nevşehirspor side.
