With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökalp Toprak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şahap Kutsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baha Akboğa in the 18th minute of play. Pembe Patikler's Gökalp Toprak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Kemal Yesari in the 27th minute of play.
