Ilica's İsmail Orhun Sanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Timurhan in the 16th minute of play. If Kuzey Timurhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Onur Ali Kocaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Eskihisar FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kadri Irgatbaşı to maneuver through the defense. Sufi Açıkel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Necdet Kuluk. Eskihisar FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 54 played minutes Ilica got a freekick which was hit by Gencay Sarıalp. Hatemi Özerhan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Onur Ali Kocaalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Ahmet Kadri Irgatbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When İbrahim Ethem Çiftçioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ilica's protests and gave İbrahim Ethem Çiftçioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Ilica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Ethem Çiftçioğlu to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Orhun Sanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskihisar FK. In the 89th match minute, Ilica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhan Öztunç to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Ilica's goal looked a bit too open when Birkan Erokay came free, but İsmail Orhun Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuzey Timurhan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Orhun Sanal saved Ilica from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Ferhan Öztunç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ilica defense, Birkan Erokay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İsmail Orhun Sanal. The Ilica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İsmail Orhun Sanal should have stopped the shot. Eskihisar FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
