Şaban Aurelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servet Arslanşah having to interfere. When Kaptan Erten came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Eminönü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaptan Erten couldn't finish the play. Devlet Sati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Faruk Taşkın having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Eminönü's goal looked a bit too open when Şaban Aurelio came free, but Servet Arslanşah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Kaptan Erten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eminönü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaptan Erten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 minutes, Fikret Erüstün made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Eminönü's Servet Arslanşah tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Özbek Lemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Cesur Orun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gülnar's Ali Faruk Taşkın didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Gülnar's zone, Serkan Kutuner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Faruk Taşkın came out of the goal and Serkan Kutuner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şaban Aurelio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gülnar getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Şaban Aurelio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Devlet Sati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eminönü's supporters rose to their feet, but Devlet Sati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Faruk Taşkın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaptan Erten in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Faruk Taşkın saved Gülnar from getting behind. Devlet Sati scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Faruk Taşkın, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaptan Erten struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ali Faruk Taşkın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eminönü. Özgün Yiğiter hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fikret Erüstün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servet Arslanşah having to interfere. The supporters of Eminönü booed when Gülnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özbek Lemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Faruk Taşkın was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cesur Orun. Gülnar's Ali Faruk Taşkın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gülnar from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Gülnar's goal looked a bit too open when Kaptan Erten came free, but Ali Faruk Taşkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Eminönü got a freekick which was hit by Devlet Sati. After a rather tough play, Eminönü's Akil Heybetli got a free kick in the 90th minute. Devlet Sati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fikret Erüstün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
