Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Koray Aysan kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Kayseri Erciyesspor's goal looked a bit too open when Koray Aysan came free, but Can Durualp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Galata SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurhan Tuğbay to maneuver through the defense. Halim Genç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Saru having to interfere. Yavuz Saru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adem Batıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galata SK's Koray Aysan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galata SK's Koray Aysan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Avni Ciray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yavuz Saru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Halim Genç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yavuz Saru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Kayseri Erciyesspor's Adem Batıhan got a free kick in the 46th minute. Can Durualp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilgehan Demiroğlu went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Avni Ciray made the kick off in the second half. Kayseri Erciyesspor's Can Durualp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koray Aysan in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Kayseri Erciyesspor getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mehmet Şefik Başarman hit a great ball. Bilgehan Demiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Can Durualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Kayseri Erciyesspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enis İslam to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match, Avni Ciray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yavuz Saru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute, Bilgehan Demiroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galata SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Bilgehan Demiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Koray Aysan made a precise shot to the right of Can Durualp. Kayseri Erciyesspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Galata SK's zone, Mehmet Şefik Başarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Saru came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Başarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Avni Ciray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Saru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galata SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kayseri Erciyesspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
