Yarimada FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahir Usluer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, one of Yarimada FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yarimada FK. 21 minutes into the match, Yarimada FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bedih Ilıca came free, but Oğuzer Ozanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedih Ilıca in the 23rd minute of play forced Yarimada FK's goalkeeper Oğuzer Ozanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Yarimada FK's Mahir Usluer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Mahir Usluer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzet Kayraalp having to interfere. With a little luck, Yarimada FK's Oğuzer Ozanalp got control of the ball when Mansur Şıran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oğuzer Ozanalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedih Ilıca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, İskender Şenaltan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güvenevler FK and the Yarimada FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute of the match Arif Nihat Dede sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İzzet Kayraalp skillfully saved the ball. Yarimada FK's Oğuzer Ozanalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Yarimada FK from getting a goal against them. Yarimada FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahir Usluer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İzzet Kayraalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Mahir Usluer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Güvenevler FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yarimada FK.
