Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hayrullah Yoruk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Coşkun Orkutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müjdat Karabey in the 41st minute of the match. If Orhan Seyfi Seci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Coşkun Orkutay was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Küre's Hayrullah Yoruk made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coşkun Orkutay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Müjdat Karabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Coşkun Orkutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Küre's Zülfü Kura shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Coşkun Orkutay but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Niksar's zone, Hayrullah Yoruk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coşkun Orkutay came out of the goal and Hayrullah Yoruk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Müjdat Karabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Naci Kutsalan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Küre played a much better game than Niksar and deserved their victory. The Niksar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
