Tayyip Sebuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Kahta's Cemal Kutunalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cenap Tahsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Şemsettin Azimoğlu's late challenge caught a Kahta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birkan Taşkan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Cemal Kutunalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kahta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cemal Kutunalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayyip Sebuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenap Tahsin having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edip Yaltır made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Kaptan Dede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sait Ulumeriç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tayyip Sebuk came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cenap Tahsin could save by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Edip Yaltır had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sait Ulumeriç. Kahta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edip Yaltır was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kaptan Dede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
