The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yavuz Selimhan Özgebay came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the DarkEagle FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Selimhan Özgebay couldn't finish the play. İsmail Orhun Veziroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fazıl Hüsnü Turan's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Seyit Tanaydin's late challenge caught a Nevizade Geceleri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyit Tanaydin helped the player get up and apologised. Erbatur Şanalp struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ata Balcıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nevizade Geceleri. Nevizade Geceleri's İsmail Orhun Veziroğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Nevizade Geceleri from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, DarkEagle FK's Yavuz Selimhan Özgebay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmail Orhun Veziroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ata Balcıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erbatur Şanalp in the 40th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Niyazi Tokuztuğ put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Nevizade Geceleri a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baykan Perker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DarkEagle FK's Ata Balcıoğlu. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erbatur Şanalp was the one to do the kick off. Nevizade Geceleri's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
