Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dicle's Hulki Saffet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mustafa Birol Toralp came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Gürün's Rahim Doğanten. But to his dismay, Rahim Doğanten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Sercan Sayhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Birol Toralp was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Abdulbaki Sirer charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulbaki Sirer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gürün's Abdulbaki Sirer got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to Dicle getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hulki Saffet hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sercan Sayhan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Birol Toralp saved Dicle from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Doğanten in the 21st minute of play forced Dicle's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Sercan Sayhan made the kick off in the second half. Aytek Yurday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barlas Özil having to interfere. During the 55th minute of the match Hulki Saffet completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hulki Saffet a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 56 played minutes Dicle got a freekick which was hit by Hulki Saffet. Rahim Doğanten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Toralp having to interfere. Mustafa Birol Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sercan Sayhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sercan Sayhan in the 62nd minute of play forced Dicle's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rahim Doğanten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mustafa Birol Toralp made a huge save. After 65 minutes of play, Gürün's Rahim Doğanten made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Birol Toralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sercan Sayhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Gürün's Sercan Sayhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Birol Toralp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hadi Tuğtaşı's late challenge caught a Gürün's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hadi Tuğtaşı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Dicle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hadi Tuğtaşı to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Dicle's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Toralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahim Doğanten. When Rahim Doğanten came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Gürün fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahim Doğanten couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the game, Artun Sav was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dicle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gürün the free kick. In the 84th minute, Artun Sav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahim Doğanten got free with Mustafa Birol Toralp in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Birol Toralp stood somewhat misplaced when Sercan Sayhan came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 91 minute. Mustafa Birol Toralp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahim Doğanten in the 96th minute. The Gürün supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gürün would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
