Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hulki Saffet kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dicle! An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Karahan in the 7th minute of play forced Dicle's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Işıkalp Karahan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patnos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Işıkalp Karahan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Birol Toralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işıkalp Karahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Işıkalp Karahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Toralp having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Patnos's goal looked a bit too open when Hadi Tuğtaşı came free, but Mürsel Rakim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mustafa Birol Toralp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Dicle's Hulki Saffet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Işıkalp Karahan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Mustafa Birol Toralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patnos. If Işıkalp Karahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Işıkalp Karahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mustafa Birol Toralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gökçe Korcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Birol Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Işıkalp Karahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 73 in the game by Işıkalp Karahan from a close distance when the talented Mustafa Birol Toralp managed to make a qualified save. Dicle's players were relieved. When Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Patnos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Patnos booed when Dicle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulki Saffet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aytek Yurday kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Dicle got a freekick which was hit by Aytek Yurday. Işıkalp Karahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mustafa Birol Toralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Toralp having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Dicle's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Ali Balkanlıoğlu came free, but Mustafa Birol Toralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Patnos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
