With his leg Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when ATARYEMEZ's Hayrettin Erdemli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 10th minute, Sermet Turaç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Turan Ehil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Bektaş Çavlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Çağlar Acun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sermet Turaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hüseyin Turan Ehil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Üzeyir Işılay took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu to make any attempt to save it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Üzeyir Işılay made a kick off. A collision led to Tarakli SK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nejat Kahya hit a great ball. Tarakli SK's Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Erdemli in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bektaş Çavlı in the 68th minute of play forced ATARYEMEZ's goalkeeper Hüseyin Turan Ehil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Sermet Turaç dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hüseyin Turan Ehil, 2-3. Hüseyin Turan Ehil came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tarakli SK's Bektaş Çavlı. But to his dismay, Bektaş Çavlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The supporters of Tarakli SK booed when ATARYEMEZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullah Doğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATARYEMEZ's Baskın Duyar got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Baskın Duyar managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATARYEMEZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Baskın Duyar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haluk Orhon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Hayrettin Erdemli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayrettin Erdemli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Erdemli in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sadettin Bozoğluer managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATARYEMEZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Sadettin Bozoğluer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ferit Sümeroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
