Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kahta's Niyazi Peşrev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lefter Akkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayhan Yavuzalp's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Niyazi Peşrev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalay Sümer having to interfere. Rize JK's Atalay Sümer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niyazi Peşrev in the 8th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Kahta got a freekick which was hit by Niyazi Peşrev. Lefter Akkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayhan Yavuzalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Güral Öztanır hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Haluk Kabak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lefter Akkaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fazıl Hiçyılmaz in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Rize JK's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Peşrev came free, but Atalay Sümer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayhan Yavuzalp in the 28th minute of play forced Kahta's goalkeeper Lefter Akkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lefter Akkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayhan Yavuzalp in the 32nd minute of play. Fazıl Hiçyılmaz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 37th playminute. Niyazi Peşrev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atalay Sümer having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ayhan Yavuzalp to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rize JK's Atalay Sümer got control of the ball when Haluk Kabak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fazıl Hiçyılmaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lefter Akkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayhan Yavuzalp in the 59th minute of play. Ayhan Yavuzalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lefter Akkaya having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Kahta's goal looked a bit too open when Ayhan Yavuzalp came free, but Lefter Akkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fazıl Hiçyılmaz in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lefter Akkaya saved Kahta from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Rize JK's Ayhan Yavuzalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lefter Akkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Tekin Sarih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rize JK's Atalay Sümer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Rize JK from getting a goal against them. Tekin Sarih kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Atalay Sümer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haluk Kabak in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Abdulmelik Sabih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayhan Yavuzalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Rize JK's Ayhan Yavuzalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lefter Akkaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rize JK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kahta for a fine match.
