Muammer Öktuna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

İlyas Tolga Çiftçibaşı came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FENERATA's Hızır Patlar. But to his dismay, Hızır Patlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hakan Erdönmez in the 59th minute of play forced Kurucesme's goalkeeper İlyas Tolga Çiftçibaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kurucesme's Erdoğan Ertüze got a free kick in the 66th minute. Matias Bernabels short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Muammer Öktuna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Muammer Öktuna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Boran Baytüzün in the 73rd minute.
