Basbasi JK's Dursun Ali Tecen got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özgür Saykal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Derem having to interfere. Yiğit Kapar's late challenge caught a KARAKÖSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KARAKÖSE's Necdet Derem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Tecen in the 45th minute of play. Dursun Ali Tecen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şükrü Vural made a kick off.
