Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Işık Sezginay took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sertel Batıray charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sertel Batıray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Berkant Gürgan in the 11th minute of play forced Kosuyolu's goalkeeper Ataol Sağcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, İlhami Oymen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kosuyolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but İlhami Oymen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Dragos's goal looked a bit too open when Mümtazer Oğuz came free, but Mahsun Kulan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mümtazer Oğuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Berkant Gürgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Sağcan having to interfere. A collision led to Dragos getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Orhun Tezalp hit a great ball. Kosuyolu's Mümtazer Oğuz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Ali Berkant Gürgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosuyolu's Ataol Sağcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dragos's Mahsun Kulan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtazer Oğuz in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Işık Sezginay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kosuyolu's Ataol Sağcan. Ataol Sağcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mahsun Kulan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mümtazer Oğuz in the 37th minute of the match. Altuğ Ülke hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Mahsun Kulan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mümtazer Oğuz's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mümtazer Oğuz made a kick off. The supporters of Kosuyolu booed when Dragos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhun Tezalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that İlhami Oymen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahsun Kulan was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Mahsun Kulan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtazer Oğuz in the 56th minute of play. Ataol Sağcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Sezginay in the 59th minute of play. Kosuyolu's Ataol Sağcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Işık Sezginay in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mümtazer Oğuz in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahsun Kulan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Suphi Özerol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahsun Kulan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gazanfer Atlas during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dragos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gazanfer Atlas hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Altuğ Ülke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mahsun Kulan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mümtazer Oğuz in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahsun Kulan saved Dragos from getting behind. If Işık Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kosuyolu's zone, Ali Berkant Gürgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataol Sağcan came out of the goal and Ali Berkant Gürgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mümtazer Oğuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kosuyolu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dragos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
