A collision led to Cobanlar SK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gökcan Şirvan hit a great ball. After 27 minutes of play, Gultekin Spor's David Šuker made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güralp Yetkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gultekin Spor's Marcelito Putin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Edip Urkan in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fehmi Okhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Edip Urkan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fehmi Okhan saved Gultekin Spor from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Alim Çinuçin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güralp Yetkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Gultekin Spor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Berkay Yoruk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fehmi Okhan. Gultekin Spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arif Buğra Saltukalp hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Alim Çinuçin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Güralp Yetkin made a huge save. Şahin Kutlutekin's late challenge caught a Gultekin Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şahin Kutlutekin helped the player get up and apologised. Şahin Kutlutekin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ahmet İlke Mertel made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gultekin Spor's Can Türk. With his leg Güralp Yetkin managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Gultekin Spor's Alim Çinuçin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Gultekin Spor booed when Cobanlar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Buğra Saltukalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güralp Yetkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alim Çinuçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Cobanlar SK a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şinasi Avcı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gultekin Spor's Fehmi Okhan. 2-3. Babür Tanyıldız's late challenge caught a Cobanlar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babür Tanyıldız helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gultekin Spor's Babür Tanyıldız got a free kick in the 97th minute. Babür Tanyıldız got his second yellow card in the match during the 99th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 100th match minute, Gultekin Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babür Tanyıldız to maneuver through the defense. Gultekin Spor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
