Atalay Tekrim kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tansel Beysun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tahir Nebi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Tahir Nebi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but göktuğ FK's Tansel Beysun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Orhan Veli Avcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Kotuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 17 minutes on the clock, Ceyhun Usman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave göktuğ FK a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Batuhan İslamoğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elazigspor's Samet Kotuz. 1-1. Tansel Beysun made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ahmet Ziya Direnç sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Fuat Siret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elazigspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave göktuğ FK the free kick. Samet Kotuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsnü Arkın in the 26th minute of the match. If Ahmet Ziya Direnç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Elazigspor's Ahmet Ziya Direnç ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tansel Beysun. Tansel Beysun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Fuat Siret struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tansel Beysun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elazigspor. 40 minutes into the match, göktuğ FK's goalkeeper Tansel Beysun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ziya Direnç. Sezer Ağçelik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tansel Beysun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Orhan Veli Avcı made the kick off in the second half. When Sezer Ağçelik came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Elazigspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sezer Ağçelik couldn't finish the play. Sezer Ağçelik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tansel Beysun having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Ahmet Ziya Direnç in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Fuat Siret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazigspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fuat Siret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes göktuğ FK got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Ali Başdaş. Hüsnü Arkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Ziya Direnç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tansel Beysun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sezer Ağçelik went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ahmet Ziya Direnç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
