Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orhan İpekdal started the match with the kick off. Tuğrul Hisar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Nazmi Yönet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orhan İpekdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. David Briso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan İpekdal in the 12th minute of play forced Kara Kartallar's goalkeeper David Briso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If İstemihan Has had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbali's Hurşit Özaslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Bittencourt in the 18th minute of play. Hurşit Özaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Bittencourt in the 20th minute of the match. If Alfredo Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüksel Çoğaş kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Alfredo Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hurşit Özaslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kara Kartallar booed when Torbali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibet Tuğbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinçer Demirci got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 47th match minute, Torbali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinçer Demirci to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Torbali's zone, Alfredo Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hurşit Özaslan came out of the goal and Alfredo Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 60 minutes, Tibet Tuğbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torbali and the Kara Kartallar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Torbali's Tibet Tuğbay got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alfredo Bittencourt sped through Torbali's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hurşit Özaslan. Ekrem Şerhenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hurşit Özaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hurşit Özaslan having to interfere. When İsmail Hakkı Omural came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Kara Kartallar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Hakkı Omural couldn't finish the play. In the 85th match minute, Kara Kartallar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Oğuz Konguralp to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Hakkı Omural might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hurşit Özaslan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İsmail Hakkı Omural ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 played minutes Torbali got a freekick which was hit by Afşin Zahit. In the 94th match minute, Kara Kartallar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahit Askeroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Yağızalp Erguvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hurşit Özaslan having to interfere.
