In the 5th minute, Alaaddin Çelikyay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suruçspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 29th minute of the match Suruçspor got a corner. Camoluk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The wind increased when Halim Umuralp made the kick off in the second half. Rıza Cihangir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaaddin Çelikyay in the 51st minute of play. If Alaaddin Çelikyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Enginalp Akyazıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halim Umuralp struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rıza Cihangir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suruçspor. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Recep Tayyip Alkın couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Suruçspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
